Day 1 Peru, IL
We leave behind the snow and cold to make our way to sunshine, warmth, and beaches in the great state of Florida. We will travel most of the day, reaching Peru, IL for our overnight stay. (D)

Day 2 Nashville, TN
Today we will notice the changing terrain as we pass through Illinois to Kentucky and finally, Nashville, “Music City USA!” (B)

Day 3 Chattanooga, TN
Situated along the banks of the Cumberland River, just one hour east of Nashville, lies the historic town of Granville, often referred to as Tennessee’s Mayberry Town. Meander through charming, storybook streets and embrace the leisurely pace of picturesque small-town America. Explore the T.B. Sutton General Store and a variety of historic buildings and museums, including the Clemons Car Museum, the I Love Lucy Museum, the Bank Museum, the Post Office Museum, the Farm to Table Museum, and the 1880s Sutton Homestead. Lunch is included while here. Following our time in Granville, we will head south to Chattanooga for our overnight. (B, L)

Day 4 Orlando, FL
Forging our way through the uncommon beauty of southern Tennessee, Georgia and finally, FLORIDA! We check-in to our hotel in Orland for the next two nights. (B)

Day 5 Orlando, FL
Our day will be spent at Kennedy Space Center. Take in a tour of the area on a special bus, seeing the launching pad, the space shuttles and much more. Experience interactive simulators, live shows and jaw-dropping encounter with massive rockets, as well as have the opportunity to meet a real member of NASA’s Astronaut Corps. You’ll get an included lunch voucher while here. (B, L)

Day 6 Fort Lauderdale, FL
Our journey through Florida begins as we head south to our first stop at Davidson of Dundee, a citrus candy factory, marmalade producer, and fruit packing house. Here, you can see how they make their yummy candies and sample various treats while exploring the shop. Next, we will visit the Grove House Visitor Center, home to Florida’s Natural orange juice. Stroll through the picturesque orange groves surrounding the center and witness how Florida’s Natural juices are produced, from grove to glass. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy complimentary samples of fresh orange juice and explore the gift shop. Our travels will take us as far as Fort Lauderdale, where we will convene for the evening. Dinner is included at a local favorite tonight! (B, D)

Day 7 Key West, FL
This morning we visit Everglades Holiday Park. Our Captain will take us on a thrilling airboat ride through the Everglades while giving us information and fun facts about this impressive ecosystem. Hopefully we’ll catch a glimpse of some wildlife as we skim across the glassy water. Afterwards, we’ll witness the “Gator Show” and learn all about this interesting creature! A boxed lunch is included. Continuing south, we will enter the Keys and drive to Key West for a 2 night stay. A delicious dinner is included this evening. (B, L, D)

Day 8 Key West, FL
Experience Key West this morning aboard a trolley tour. This journey will take you from the iconic Southernmost Point to the charming streets of Old Town, highlighting the major areas and attractions while providing insightful information about the history and culture of Key West. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city and the many attractions or museums here. You may also choose to just relax our hotel by the pool if you would rather. You will receive hop-on, hop-off tickets for the trolley, valid for the entire day to use to get around. (B, D)

Day 9 Fort Myers, FL
Today, we’re waving goodbye to the Keys and make our way to one of Florida’s quirkiest wonders, Coral Castle. This magical limestone masterpiece was created by Edward Leedskalnin as a love letter to his lost sweetheart, who called off their engagement just a day before the big “I do.” There are over 30 different sculptures and items of interest. Sights here include a 9-ton gate, a Polaris telescope, a Sundial that shows not only the time of the day to the minute, but also the seasons and solstices, and celestial sculptures – all made entirely of stone. After soaking in the wonders of Coral Castle, we’ll continue northward to Fort Myers our overnight stay. (B)

Day 10 Clearwater Beach, FL
Our day commences at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates to discover the genius of two American innovators, Thomas Edison & Henry Ford. Explore nine historic buildings, acres of lush gardens, Edison’s original botanic research laboratory and a 15,000 square-foot museum filled with hundreds of inventions and artifacts. After an included lunch we make our way to St. Petersburg and the Clearwater Beach area for some wine tasting at the Florida Grove Winery. This family-owned tropical fruit winery produces 43 different varieties of premium fruit wines, all of which are gluten free and has been in business since the 1070’s. Afterwards, we check-in to our accommodations for the next four nights, so feel free to unpack! (B)

Day 11 Clearwater Beach, FL
Today is a free day to enjoy at our fabulous resort and all of it’s amenities. Spend the day on the beach or sitting by the pool! Dinner is included this evening. (B)

Day 12 Clearwater Beach, FL
This morning we board a boat for a Dolphin Cruise through Clearwater Pass on the beautiful emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico in search of the Sun Coast’s favorite….the Bottlenose Dolphin! We will return to our hotel and you have the rest of the day on your own. (B)

Day 13 Clearwater Beach, FL
This morning we head to Tampa’s Ybore City Historic District for a tour of CJ Newmans Cigar Company, America’s oldest family-owned premium cigar maker. We see the process of cigar making both by hand and on antique cigar machines, the Newman family legacy, the history of Cigar City, and much more. Lunch is included at a local restaurant here before we visit the 100 year old Sunken Gardens which is home to some of the oldest tropical plants in the region. (B, L)

Day 14 Home
We’ll depart our beach side oasis and fly home today. A Riley motorcoach will be awaiting our arrival at MSP Airport to bring us back to our original departure points.
