Trip Itinerary
Day 1 Palm Springs, CA
We will board a motorcoach and head to Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport for our flight to Palm Springs located in southern California. After having a chance to get settled in your room, we will gather for a special welcome dinner this evening. (D)

Day 2 Palm Springs, CA
Our day begins with a City Tour with a local guide to get familiar with this vibrant city. Next we board the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the world’s largest rotating tram car which travels over two-and-one-half miles along the breathtaking cliffs of Chino Canyon, transporting us to the pristine wilderness of the Mt. San Jacinto State Park. During our approximately ten-minute journey, tram cars rotate slowly, offering picturesque and spectacular vistas of the valley floor below. Once we reach the Mountain Station (elevation 8,516 feet) enjoy two restaurants, observation decks, State Park Visitors Center and natural history museum, two documentary theaters, a gift shop and hiking trails. Lunch is included here. The rest of the day is at at Leisure! Enjoy our resort or explore nearby. We're very close to Palm Canyon Dr, which is a popular shopping street here in Palm Springs. (B, L)
Day 3 Palm Springs, CA
Enjoy a leisurely morning and afternoon before embarking on a 3 PM adventure in the Coachella Valley with the Covered Wagon Cookout. Experience scenic canyons in an open-air wagon, guided by a naturalist who will share insights on local flora, fauna, and history. Return to camp for a delicious dinner and live western music, featuring classic cowboy tunes and a chance to participate in line dancing or games like horseshoes and cornhole. Savor a BBQ dinner followed by pie and marshmallow roasting under the stars. (B, D)
Day 4 Palm Springs, CA
Our adventure kicks off this morning as we travel into Joshua Tree National Park with a local guide. The park showcases a breathtaking blend of rugged beauty, characterized by its high desert landscape filled with the park's signature twisted, bristled Joshua trees. These distinctive yuccas serve as guardians amidst a stunning backdrop of towering rock formations and expansive skies. A boxed lunch is included. We will return to our hotel and the rest of the day is on your own. If you would like something fun to do this evening we suggest VillageFest. Every Thursday evening, Downtown Palm Springs comes alive as it transforms into the Palm Springs VillageFest, also known as the Palm Springs Street Fair. At this lively event, you'll encounter a vibrant mix of artists, artisans, entertainers, and vendors offering fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, jewelry, snacks, and sweets. Additionally, you can explore the wonderful shops, restaurants, clubs, and entertainment venues that line the renowned Palm Canyon Drive. (B, L)
Day 5 Home
Today we board a plane for our return flight home. Upon our arrival in Minneapolis, a Riley motorcoach will be ready to transport us back to our original departure locations.

If you prefer to mail a check, click on BOOK BY MAIL. A printable reservation form will pop up, print this and mail it in with the deposit required.
Once we receive your reservation & deposit, you will receive an invoice for the final payment.
